Công ty cổ phần sữa Việt Nam (Vinamilk) hôm qua ký kết hợp tác nghiên cứu và ứng dụng khoa học dinh dưỡng với tập đoàn DSM, Công ty Lonza - Thụy Sỹ và tập đoàn Chr.Hansen - Đan Mạch, để phát triển sữa cho trẻ em.
Lễ ký kết diễn ra tại Thụy Sỹ. Các bên sẽ hợp tác thông qua những ứng dụng khoa học vi chất, vi sinh cho sản phẩm sữa tươi, sữa chua và đặc biệt là sữa bột dưới thương hiệu Dielac như Dielac Alpha, Dielac Mama.

“Chiến lược dinh dưỡng của Vinamilk trong 3 năm tới là tiếp tục đẩy mạnh công tác nghiên cứu về thực trạng dinh dưỡng của người Việt Nam, nhất là trẻ em", ông Nguyễn Quốc Khánh - Giám đốc điều hành sản xuất và phát triển sản phẩm của Vinamilk cho biết.
Theo ông Khánh, những hợp tác mang tính chiều sâu với các đối tác dinh dưỡng hàng đầu thế giới giúp Vinamilk ứng dụng thành tựu khoa học tiên tiến nhất, từ đó mang lại giải pháp dinh dưỡng hiệu quả, đáp ứng nhu cầu đặc thù của người Việt Nam.
Báo cáo của Viện Dinh Duỡng Quốc Gia, kết quả nghiên cứu điều tra dinh dưỡng toàn quốc 2009-2010 tại 63 tỉnh, thành phố với hơn 50.000 trẻ từ 2 đến 5 tuổi cho thấy, tỷ lệ suy dinh dưỡng thể nhẹ cân chiếm 19,62%, tỷ lệ suy dinh dưỡng thể thấp còi là 29,05%.
Các kết quả nghiên cứu về vi chất dinh dưỡng trong nghiên cứu này cho thấy tình trạng thiếu vi chất còn phổ biến ở trẻ em Việt Nam, thể hiện qua tỷ lệ thiếu máu, thiếu vitamin A tiền lâm sàng (retinol huyết thanh thấp), thiếu kẽm… Bên cạnh đó vấn đề biếng ăn của trẻ em trong các nghiên cứu từ năm 2004 đến nay cũng cho thấy khá cao, căn cứ tỷ lệ bà mẹ mang con đến phòng khám (45,9-57,7%).
